Rattled by the exit polls and turbulence in MP Govt, Kamal Nath Govt plans to reopen 12-year-old murder case against Pragya Thakur

The political atmosphere is quite heated up in Madhya Pradesh. Firstly the candidature of Sadhvi Pragya from Bhopal against Digvijay Singh led the opposition in split. Upon that the exit polls predicting massive win for Sadhvi Pragya and BJP in Madhya Pradesh, as well as the turbulence in Kamal Nath Government, has put the Congress in shambles

Because of this fear the Congress is now resorting to cheap tactics. It has come to the forefront that the Congress Government in Madhya Pradesh led by Kamal Nath is planning to reopen 12-year-old case against BJP Candidate from Bhopal Sadhvi Pragya

This case is related to the murder of ex-RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi, in which Sadhvi Pragya was acquitted. Sunil Joshi was shot dead in Dewas district on December 29, 2007. Joshi, also known as Guruji, was shot dead by bike-borne assailants in Chuna Khadan area of Dewas. He was reportedly evading arrest for his alleged role in the murder of a Congress leader. But there was no role of Sadhvi Pragya in that and  Pragya Thakur and seven other accused were acquitted by a court in 2017  due to lack of evidence against them

The state Law Minister PC Sharma has said that the Congress-led government in the state will seek a legal opinion on the matter. “We will seek a legal opinion on that report and then take a decision about moving a higher court,” he said. The Congress government also claimed that the then district collector took a decision on his own to shut the case, instead of sending it to the law department for a legal opinion. “The district collector should have sent the report to the law department instead of deciding that there was no need to move a higher court,” he said.

This is nothing but the age-old theory of Congress party for trapping the innocents in the false cases. The BJP has also called out the move of Congress as revenge politics. “It looks like the MP government is going to take this decision because Pragya Thakur contested the election as BJP candidate against Congress’s Digvijaya Singh. This is politics of revenge,” state BJP spokesman Rajnish Agrawal said

Since the candidature of Sadhvi Pragya, the opposition has been rattled and trying various means to keep her away from politics and trap her in their falsehood. But it is said that you can’t run, sooner or later you have to pay for your bad Karmas. And the Opposition time is over now. The way Congress party has harassed Sadhvi Pragya for so many long years now it is the turn of the Congress to experience what they made her go through without her fault

As said by PM Modi also, Sadhvi Pragya’s candidature from Bhopal is a symbol to answer all those who coined “Hindu terror” and harassed her and this symbol will prove costly to the Congress. Yes the time of Congress has now come and it has to pay heavily for the heinous acts done by it
