A year back, a massive outrage erupted in UP after 60 children died in BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur. The issue became a national talking point within no time. It was found that death occurred due to interrupted oxygen supply in the hospital. Kafeel Khan who was the nodal officer of acute encephalitis syndrome (AES) in the medical college was accused of negligence.
This man Kafeel Khan was found to have diverted the oxygen cylinders meant for the hospital to his private clinic which resulted in deficient in oxygen supply leading to the death of over 60 children. He was suspended and then arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force. He was serving the jail term for many months, after which he was granted bail by Allahabad High Court on April 25th. While granting bail to Khan, the court laid down several conditions including that the applicant shall not tamper with the records or documents and that he will not threaten or influence any witnesses in the case (One India).
But now, this man’s brother Kasif Jamal has been shot at by 2 unknown miscreants in Durgabadi. He was taken to hospital where he is undergoing treatment. According to many political analysts, his brother was involved in land mafia in Uttar Pradesh which is said to be one of the reasons for his attack. It is said that Kasif was attacked earlier too in 2014, when some miscreants had fired him at his home. This information was published in Jagaran in 2014 even before PM Modi became PM. How do I know? All it took was a quick read of Gorakhpur newspapers and a phone call to the local police station! https://t.co/RK14AQTIzQ
The Qasif Jameel mentioned in this old report is Kafeel's brother, I was told. He also has several cases of fraud against him

But even before the police conclude the investigation, some pseudo-liberals have taken the opportunity to blame Yogi government for the incident saying it is a sinister plot by the Chief Minister. But what these people forgot to mention is that Kasif has many criminal and fraud cases against him.
So, a through investigation will reveal the true colours of these people who hide behind the minority tag.
