Rohingyas, pack your bags! Modi Govt sends back second batch of illegal Rohingya immigrants

Rohingyas are a security threat to nation. Whereas Modi Government is doing their best to deport these people the opposition is nurturing these radicals just for the sake of vote bank politics. But anyhow any tactics of Opposition will not stop Modi Government from taking any action for the betterment of the nation.

After deporting the batch of seven illegal Rohingya immigrants, Modi Government has deported the second group of at least 5 – 6 Rohingyas through the Moreh border in the Northeastern part of India, which divides India and Myanmar, reported the Voice of America

A police official in India’s northeastern Assam state, Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, said a family of five Rohingya was handed over to Myanmar authorities at a border crossing in Manipur state.

Jails in Assam held 20 more Myanmar nationals, all arrested for illegal entry, he added. But it was not immediately clear if all were Rohingya, a largely stateless Muslim minority in Buddhist-majority Myanmar.
“We shall send them back to Myanmar once we get their travel permits from that country,” Mahanta said. “Most of them sneaked into India in search of a livelihood.”

The government estimates that 40,000 Rohingya live in India in camps across the country, including the capital, New Delhi, having arrived over the years after fleeing violence and persecution in Myanmar, which denies them citizenship.

In August, a United Nations report accused the Myanmar military of committing mass killings and rapes on the Rohingya with “genocidal intent” in 2017 in an operation that drove more than 700,000 of them to flee to neighbouring Bangladesh.

Myanmar has denied the charges, saying its military launched a counter-insurgency operation after attacks on security posts by Muslim militants in August last year.

Modi Government has kept its poll promise. In the run-up to the 2014 elections the Government had promised that an identification drive would be undertaken to identify people living illegally in India and these people would be deported back to their country of origin. Taking steps in this direction, the NRC exercise in Assam was started which has entered into its final phase. Similarly, the identification process of illegal Rohingyas was also started and many have already been identified and marked for deportation. Now, the government has begun the process of deportation also with this second batch being deported to be followed by many more illegal immigrants

The Government will not let Congress exploit the nation by using them as vote bank.Where is Mainstream Media? Why there is no mainstream coverage on such important issues?
