Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party managed to sustain the power once again in Delhi. The biggest win for AAP was recorded by Amaatullah Khan in Okhla where Shaheen Bagh falls. He got 85 percent of the votes polled.
While Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh were busy pretending that their hands were all clean, it was Amanatullah Khan who was busy on the streets demonstrating his party’s loyalty towards the most radical sections of the Muslim community.
Intrestingly, According to sources, when the Delhi Assembly election results were to be announced, the protest site of Shaheen Bagh appeared empty with scarce number of demonstrators at the site. The protestors had occupied for almost 2 months now, blocking one of the busiest roads of the Delhi in opposition Citizenship Amendment Act.
Well, many leftist favouring websites claimed that the reports of empty Shaheen Bagh is fake and that Shaheen Bagh was not empty but a few people were present at the site. But, the point to be noted is, it is said that, the CAA protesters in Shaheen Bagh were staging silent demonstrations. The protesters are now using posters to convey their message but refused to say anything. No person was seen delivering speech during the demonstration.
Well, the Shaheen Bagh protests trace their roots in the rumouring and fear mongering against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The roadblock started on December 15, round about the same time when the AAP MLAs and leaders also came under the limelight for being spotted among anti CAA rioters.
AAP’s MLA from the Okhla constituency,Amanatullah in which Shaheen Bagh is situated was spotted at violent anti CAA protests, even a complaint was filed against the lawmaker for inciting violence at the Jamia Milia Islamia University.
Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia also had tried to polarize the situation even more by spreading fake news and claiming that it was Delhi Police which had burnt DTC buses during the anti CAA protests.
Also,it is said that AAP was involved in the anti CAA violence in Seelampur. The Kejriwal led party even rewarded Abdul Rehman, who was booked for leading the violent mobs of Seelampur and then encouraging them for resorting to violence.
Well, The Shaheen Bagh protests were planned by the left liberal ecosystem, while the AAP was busy in polarising the Muslim vote bank by instilling a false sense of fear among the people against CAA.
