She is a queen of the Indian Politics! From the day she has been elected as Minister of External Affairs, every nation started saluting her seeing her courage and brave moves. She was the one who warned Pakistan regarding Kulbhushan Jadhav and she was the one who has sent a shiver down the spine of enemies! She is like a beauty of the Indian politics.
And, on Wednesday, after calling on Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who is on a three-day visit to the country, landed in capital city Baku. said, ” The two countries were committed to strengthening ties in a range of issues including trade and investment, connectivity and transportation, culture and tourism etc.”
After meeting the President, Sushma Swaraj said “We had fruitful discussions that brought out the high-level of commitment on both sides to strengthening the relationship for the mutual benefit of the peoples of both countries.”
According to the reports, she also has managed few talks with her Azerbaijan counterpart Mammadyarov, who is expected to represent India at a ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement over the next two days. This is Swaraj’s first bilateral visit to the country.

“The two countries have taken stock of progress in bilateral relations and spoken of regional and global issues of mutual interest. India and Azerbaijan enjoy warm and friendly relations based on historical and cultural ties. Our countries share the values of democracy, respect for plurality and multiculturalism,” Sushma Swaraj claimed after holding talks with her foreign affairs counterpart.
According to the reports of Indian Express, “Bilateral trade between India and Azerbaijan has increased from around $50 million in 2005 to nearly $460 million in 2017. Azerbaijan has invited Indian firms to set up joint ventures in the country for production of pharmaceuticals and medical products. The counties also noted that since the opening of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline to the Mediterranean port, Indian oil companies have been buying substantive quantities of crude oil.”

Talking on international issues, Swaraj said that, “the two countries share the view that terrorism in all its forms is a global scourge that requires global action in the spirit of zero tolerance.” Adding to it, they also emphasised the need for concerted efforts to deal with climate change and other common challenges.
Sushma Swaraj has confirmed that “going forward, India and Azerbaijan have expressed interest to partner in the field of agriculture, including in cotton and tobacco cultivation. And each nation will support their development and international dealings.” It is believed that Sushma Swaraj is going forward in full swing and she is winning too.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Ministry of External Affairs had said in a statement that, “India, which is a founding member of NAM, remains committed to the purposes and principles of the movement,” just before Sushma Swaraj’s departure from New Delhi to Baku,
Adding to it, Ministry of external affairs has claimed that, “the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s participation in the NAM Ministerial Meeting will underline India’s continued active and constructive engagement within the movement with a view to further strengthen solidarity and cooperation among its member states.”
It is great that all three Female Ministers of Modi government are co-operating with system administration and the responsibilities which they are managing is going forward day by day which is helping India in several ways.
