Soon after Amit Shah gets appointed as Home Minister, Kashmir’s separatist Hurriyat says “ready to support Centre’s initiatives”

It won’t be wrong to say that the attention of the entire nation has diverted from PM Modi to Amit Shah after the latter has been appointed as the Home Minister of India. Within minutes after the appointment of Amit Shah as the chief of Home Ministry, people of India started to compare him with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was also from Gujarat.

Instantly, people started to build-up great expectations from Amit Shah, who was earlier considered as the Chanakya while he was the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief. Now looking at the incidents happening, it seems like Amit Shah won’t disappoint the millions who have kept high hopes on him.

Within hours after Amit Shah assumed the office, the separatists in Kashmir has made a complete u-turn. Yes, Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that the Hurriyat was willing to support every initiative for a peaceful resolution of the dispute, reported Times Now. He stated, “Kashmir cannot be resolved militarily or through confrontation, but by dialogue and deliberations”.

This has been really a fantastic news because the separatists in Kashmir were the main reason behind the constant violence and they have hardly operated with the central government. But the statement issued by Hurriyat has proved that the Kashmir valley will not remain the same in the next 5 years.

After assuming the office, even Amit Shah has said that his first focus will be on Kashmir. In the past 5 years, the Modi government had succeeded in breaking the nexus and on-ground intelligence of anti-nationals and pro-Pakistan gangs. And now it is time for some big bang reforms that are long pending.

Amit Shah is likely to take decisions on controversial sections like Article 370 and 35A. In the manifesto released ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP had promised to scrap Article 370 and 35A, and now with Amit Shah becoming the Home Minister, the target might be achieved sooner than expected.

Along with Article 370 and 35A, sources have said that Amit Shah will be taking serious stock of infiltration by Bangladeshis, who are directly and indirectly backed by the TMC goons of Mamata Banerjee. Even the Naxal activities is said to be among the top proprieties of Amit Shah.
