The mystery related to death of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is one of the biggest mysteries in the history of the country. Although it was said that he died due to plane crash but later on findings that came to forefront was totally different from what is said
The Indian government has as of yet appointed three commissions to look into the death of Netaji – the Shah Nawaz Committee (1956), the Khosla Commission (1970) and the Mukherjee Commission (1999). The first two commissions said that Netaji died in an air crash on August 18, 1945 at Taihoku airport in Japanese-occupied Taipei, while the Mukherjee Commission (1999) concluded that he did not die in an air crash. Surprisingly, the government rejected the findings of the Mukherjee Commission.
Recently a report by Paris-based historian, JBP More, stumbled upon a brief French secret service report dated December 11, 1947 at the National Archives of France. On the basis of this report he has come up with the finding that Netaji didn’t die in an air crash and was still alive in 1947.
From all these different reports and findings one thing is very sure that the theory propagated for the death of Netaji Subash Chandar Bose is not true and the truth has been twisted and turned and reality is far from the claims being made.Neither Netaji’s family nor the nation has received due closure.
Yesterday senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramaniun Swamy have made some startling revelations regarding Netaji’s death. Addressing an event organized by Sanskritik Gaurav Sangstha at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan Swami too confirmed that Netaji didn’t die in 1945 and the theory propagating about his death due to plane crash holds no importance. Senior BJP leader said Netaji was alive till 1947 and he had sought shelter in communist Russia where he was later killed.
Subramanian Swamy said that former President of Russia, Joseph Stalin, was instrumental in “murdering” Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and former Prime Minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru too knew about it. Infact Swamy pointed out that the conspiracy to kill Netaji was hatched by former Prime Minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru & former President of Russia, Joseph Stalin
“Bose did not die in 1945. It is wrong. It is a conspiracy of Nehru and the Japenese. Subhash Chandra Bose sought shelter in Russia and was granted asylum. Jawaharlal Nehru knew everything. Later, Bose was murdered there,” he said.
Swamy also claimed that India got independence from colonial rulers of British due to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Azad Hind government which was formed in Singapore 75 years back.
Recounting former British Prime Minister Clement Attlees visit to India in 1948, Swamy said that the British PM admitted that they realised it would be tough for the British if Indians, who were much more in number than the colonialists, took up arms against the Britishers.
Swamy presenting his views on Article 370 of the Constitution, which allows special status to Kashmir, said it can be scrapped by adding only a notification by the President of India.”Even a vote in the Parliament is not necessary to remove Article 370. The President of India can issue a notification and it can be removed, he said.
Subramaniun Swamy also hinted that “Ram Mandir” is now not far from being built at Ayodhya. He said “My petition can have fast judgement in the Court. The Supreme Court said 4-5 days back that there will be no review of a 1995 verdict of the Allahabad High Court on the issue.
