Congress led grand alliance is in some serious troubles ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Earlier in the day, Sujay Vikhe Patil who is the son of senior Congress leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil joined BJP in Maharashtra. This was considered as the biggest embarrassment for Congress party in the state and now the reports suggest that Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil may resign from the post of Leader of the Opposition after his son’s move.
If this is the case in Maharastra, the condition of West Bengal is also no different. In the month of January, Trinamool Congress MP Suamitra Khan had joined BJP and now another youth leader and TMC MP Anupam Hazra joined BJP. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Hazra had defeated Marxist MP Ramhandra Dome by a margin of 2,36,112 votes. This proves that BJP is in the riding position the constituency of Hazra.
And now the reports have said that Congress MLA Dulal Chandra Bar and CPM MLA Khagen Murmu have also joined the BJP. When Saumitra Khan had joined BJP last month, saffron party leader Mukul Roy had said that many other leaders will join BJP in the coming days.

Since last few months, the BJP high command has been instructing that it should secure over 20 seats in West Bengal. Looking at the current developments, it seems easily achievable. Reports have also said that many other powerful leaders from both Congress and TMC are all set to join BJP in West Bengal, in coming days.
Not just in Maharashtra and West Bengal, but even in Gujarat the Congress leaders are embracing the leadership of PM Modi and Amit Shah. Within a span of one month, four sitting MLAs from Gujarat have dumped Congress party and have joined BJP.
In the last Lok Sabha elections, BJP had won all 26 constituencies in Gujarat and it is all set to repeat it even this time.
