This young girl would have lost the chance to participate in international level shooting! But here’s how CM Yogi supported her dream

The true leader always wants his nation to prosper unlike the Congress leaders who just thinks only for their own prosperity. Time to time Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has proved this with his work that nothing should act as a roadblock in the development of nation and the people glorifying the nation.

Standing on his instance, what Uttar Pradesh CM did recently will make you love and respect him even more. This time he has granted four-and-a-half-lakh rupees to 19-year-old Indian shooter Priya Singh, to enable her to participate in the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup in Germany.

Priya Singh is the daughter of a labourer from Mawana subdivision of Meerut. She got selected to represent India in 50m rifle prone at the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup in Germany’s Suhl scheduled to begin from June 22. She was one of six candidates selected for the 50-meter rifle prone ISSF Junior World Cup. Having made it to the prestigious event on a borrowed rifle, she finished fourth in the qualification. However, the young shooter faced her first challenge even before boarding a flight to Germany. Priya was told that she needed Rs 3-4 lakh to take part in the competition but she did not have the fund o travel. The government provides sponsorships to the only top three qualifiers.

She and her father tried hard to arrange the funds and also wrote to PM Narendra Modi, CM Yogi Adityanath and local MLA for supporting in her endeavour. Her father, who at any cost wants to send her to Germany tried every possible way to arrange the funds. He even sold his buffaloes for sending her daughter.

When Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath came to know about this he immediately sanctioned her amount of four-and-a-half-lakh rupees as he believes that such a promising talent should not leave behind for participation in an international event just due to monetary issues. Not only this, CM Yogi Adityanath has even instructed the Meerut District Magistrate to provide all arrangements to help her to go to Germany.

“Such a promising and talented athlete should not be kept from an international competition because of monetary issues. We extended our support for that reason. We will keep this stance in the future also so that no athlete faces any such problem and they are encouraged to keep up the good work. I wish all the participants of the (ISSF) Junior World Cup the best and hope they get good news for the nation,” said Yogi Adityanath

Sports authority of India has also extended her help to the shooter. The director of association Neelam Kapur has assured that Priya will be provided with all the support to improve her scores and make it to the Indian team. We will consider providing her a rifle too, she said

That is how CM Yogi Adityanath and his Government works. He has quickly soughted the matter as soon as he came to know about it. Another leader should also take an inspiration from this.

Our best wishes are with shooter Priya to bring laurels to the nation !!!
