Total breakup in the opposition: Everyone dumps Sonia and Yechury

As soon as Rahul Gandhi left India for his foreign tour, the Congress has literally shattered. This happened after Modi nominated Kovind as Presidential candidate. Gulam Nabi Azad of Congress even tried to play politics saying that Modi didn’t inform about the candidate. But the question is, when BJP nominated a candidate who has a clean image then why does Congress have a problem to back him?

Congress and CPI tried to hold the opposition united by their dirty tricks but it was not possible. Their sole intension was to stop the progress of Modi government and tried their best by meeting all the rivals and tried to unite them for Presidential poll.

CPI said that Ram Nath Kovind is from RSS and they will put up a candidate against Kovind. They added that RSS will further divide the country. But let me remind that CPI was the one which denied donating blood to soldiers; CPI is the one which supported anti nationals like Kanhaiyya Kumar.

Who are with Kovind?

Telugu Desam Party(TDP) has offered its full support to Kovind. N Chandrababu Naidu told PM Modi that “You have chosen a right candidate for the top post. An intellectual with high values belonging to the Dalit community is very apt in all respects for the president’s post”

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) also backed Kovind; Telangana CM Chandrashekar Rao is happy over nominating a Dalit candidate.

Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is also happy over Kovind’s nomination

YSRCP’s Jagan Mohan Reddy also supported Kovind’s nomination.

Lok Janshakthi Party’s (LJP) Ram Vilas Paswan is also pleased with Kovind for President’s post

JD(U),SP,BSP, Shiv Sena also have not opposed the nomination of Kovind. Mayawati was happy to see a Dalit candidate, Nitish openly praised Kovind.

Till date we had seen the opposition standing out in Sonia Gandhi’s doorsteps to ask her permission for each and every political decision. But Modi’s masterstroke broke the decade old culture as the opposition didn’t consider giving importance to Sonia’s opinion and immediately backed BJP’s nominee.

CPM’s Sitaram Yechury said that BJP named Presidential candidate ‘Unilaterally’. It is hilarious to hear this word from him because he never considered his political opponents opinion when his party was in power.

Finally, questions that arise are where is the “Maha Gatbhandh”? Have the other political parties started to sideline the Congress? Is this because of Congress’ greed to keep the power within the Gandhi family and ignore nation’s progress?
