For the second time, the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has been slapped in a public rally. This incident took place during a roadshow in Moti Nagar in New Delhi constituency. When the Delhi CM was campaigning by standing on top of an open jeep, a 33-year-old man named Suresh wearing a red T-shirt jumped onto the vehicle and slapped him. Later on the man who slapped Arvind Kejriwal was detained.
After the video showing Arvind Kejriwal getting slapped went viral, he started to blame it on BJP. Kejriwal blabbered that BJP is behind the attack and stated “This is the fifth attack since I have become chief minister and the ninth in total. It has not happened with any other chief minister. Delhi is the only state where the security of the chief minister is with an opposition party. My security is under the BJP. If there is an attack then the responsibility is on BJP. There cannot be a security lapse on nine occasions”.
What is the truth? Who attacked Kejriwal?
When Arvind Kejriwal was pointing his fingers at BJP, the truth that came out has exposed the lies of the AAP. Delhi Police’s additional public relation officer Anil Mittal revealed that the man who slapped Kejriwal was none other than a former AAP member and he did it because he was angry at AAP as they didn’t trust the Armed force.
Officer Anil Mittal stated “He (Chauhan) got disenchanted due to the behaviour of the AAP leaders. He got further angry due party’s distrust in the armed forces”.
Months ago a chilly-powder attack was carried out on Arvind Kejriwal, but later on suspicions grew stronger that it was a staged act by the AAP. Even this time, BJP leaders expressed such a doubt and the BJP Delhi president Manoj Tiwari while condemning the incident said “We do not support violence and condemn such action by anyone. But I have doubt as to why such incidents happen with Kejriwal in election time only”. He added that “I doubt this incident may have been scripted by Kejriwal himself”.
