“Wasim didn’t intend to kill BJP worker Santosh, he just pierced a screwdriver”: Karnataka Home Minister!

When the state is boiling with anger over the killings of BJP/RSS workers, the home minister of the state has made the most irresponsible comment he could ever make defending the killers and the killing of Santosh.

The slain BJP worker Santosh was stabbed to death by 4 people in JC Nagar of Bangalore, in the early hours of Thursday. Santosh was said to be preparing for the Parivarthana rally of BJP in which PM Modi was to address the rally. Santosh was fixing banners of PM Modi when four people approached him and threatened him to take down the banners of Modi. But when Santosh refused, the goons have attacked him and repeatedly attacked him with a screwdriver and killed him on spot.

The police arrested four people named Wasim, Philip, Umar and Irfan, all residents of Chinnappa Garden.

But the shocking part is, the Karnataka Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy has made a disastrous statement defending the murderers saying “Wasim did not intend to kill Santosh, he just pierced screw driver.”

His shocking statement came after people demanded answers from governments for repeated murders of BJP/RSS workers in the state since 2-3 years. The Home Minister in the press made an irresponsible statement in a bid to save the killers. Massive anger erupted in Karnataka after his statement and people are blaming Congress government for appeasing killers and criminals for votes.

With just 2 months for the assembly elections, the Congress government has gone for full time appeasement of minority community. Despite repeated murders of BJP/RSS workers, the government has decided to free over 100 criminals of minority community involved in communal violence. 175 cases against terror organisation PFI has been withdrawn to save them from getting jailed.

Until now there have been 24 murders BJP workers in Karnataka, but not single case has been solved. Instead, the state government has given free hand to jihadi elements to continue their killing business which has deteriorated the law and order situation like never before.
